Feelings Exploratorium
Are emotions fixed aspects of who we are, or are they fleeting experiences that come and go?
Feelings Exploratorium explores this question, offering children a unique way to engage with and
understand their emotions.
This interactive hemispherical form is designed to illustrate that emotions do not define us; they are simply layers that shift and change. Depending on the angle of view, the face inside may appear fully visible, partially obscured, or completely hidden—just like emotions. Sometimes, they are overwhelming and clear, while at other times, they are subtle, buried beneath other sensations, yet always in motion.
Created as an experiential learning tool, Feelings Exploratorium invites children to interact with its structure by moving and uncovering different layers, revealing hidden expressions, and observing how perspectives alter what is seen. This hands-on engagement encourages them to recognize emotions as temporary and fluid rather than fixed states.
