Golden Eagle Skull –
A Wire Sculpture Study

This project explores form, structure, and negative space, using wire as a medium to capture the delicate yet powerful essence of a golden eagle's skull. Inspired by anatomical studies, this piece translates the intricate bone structure into a three-dimensional contour, emphasizing the fragility and strength of nature’s designs.

Each wire bend and connection mimics the organic flow of the skull, allowing light and shadow to interplay, creating a visual experience that shifts with perspective. The red wire accents highlight key structural elements, bringing a sense of movement and energy into the skeletal framework. Accompanying contour drawings provide a foundation for the study, bridging the gap between two-dimensional observation and sculptural form.
